Meet our Team: Director of Talent

My journey from an office in India to remote working in Berlin

When was the last time you looked at your Instagram feed to find your friends who adopted the remote working life and hoped that was you? To be honest, I’ve found myself ponder over this often and boy, I got lucky!

In search of a new way of life, I recently moved from India to make Germany my new home. My remote work journey started as I continued to work for my Indian employer during this transition. More often than not, everyone thinks remote work is home office – right? That isn’t true for me at all. I find comfort in working from quaint European cafes and co-working spaces.

My decision to go all in on remote working became a reality when I came across acework. I was immediately sold on acework’s vision of uniquely matching the world’s top talent to remote career opportunities. We help companies that have gotten more progressive with their approach to managing HR by adopting a more flexible work culture.

A decade of experience, and more.

I’ve been an HR professional for ten years. My passion for people and the ability to place the right talent in the right role gets me a good night’s sleep. The career exploration and development of professionals inspires me. I’m curious what attracts them to certain positions and what drives them to excel at their careers. In addition, I have experience in skill testing as well as culture and value screening. Both will benefit the candidates and companies that sign up on the Acework platform.

When I am not a recruitment ninja, you’ll find me coaching job seekers at NGO’s in Berlin. I also enjoy watching dark comedies on Netflix or football with my husband (Go Liverpool!) as I sip on some German beers. Exploring new genres of music and traveling whenever I can are also part of my life.

As the Director of Talent at acework, I can’t wait to connect with you to discuss all your professional achievements and learn about the last music festival you attended 🙂
