If you are open to the job role, you will be invited to completed your profile on the platform, book an onboarding call with our talent manager and share two references.

Now it’s time to sit back and relax, as we match you with your next remote job! You can decide if you would like to accept or reject a matching job by replying over an email. For some jobs, you may have to submit answers to a few screening questions. On acceptance, we will share your profile with the potential company and kickstart your interview process. As we go live, on signing up you will have exclusive access to match with all remote jobs we are already recruiting for and access to offers from our partners, which include productivity tools, online courses, personality tests, co-working spaces and more.
We ensure that you only receive jobs that is a best match your skill set. Your reference will receive a short questionnaire that will help validate your skills and professional experiences. Please note, this is a mandatory step so do give your reference a heads-up as we send out the email shortly.
We onboard you on our platform only if you are remote-ready! We make sure to connect you with remote opportunities but ultimately it is you who will need to ace the interview.
Unfortunately we cannot estimate how long it will take since where are so many variables to landing a job. Sorry!
Your acework membership is a one-time sign up fee of $49.
We work with a wide variety of companies: from small to large, fully distributed (“FROGS”) or only offering a few remote positions. In general, we found that the companies most likely to embrace remote working are tech companies or startups. This means most roles on the platform will be at those companies.
As you apply to relevant jobs of your choice on our platform, you may need to answer a few skills based questions that will help company’s access you better. On accepting your profile, you will receive an email about the next steps in your interview process.
At this time, there is no way for you to save a draft of your text or video answers. Upon hitting submit, your answers will be submitted to the company.
You can communicate your disinterest in the job at the time of interviewing.
If you have cleared all interviews and have been offered the job, congratulations! You will have to directly sign a contract with your new employer (not with acework).
We are in the early stages of building our platform and you may find more jobs for some profiles and less for the others, so do apply to the one that matches your skillset. Through our thorough designed vetting process, we will be sending you some matches over an email shortly.

Then you can directly schedule your call with our team to verify you as remote employer. Since we vet every candidate personally, we want to do the same with companies as well. We have thoroughly designed our vetting process to ensure you find matches that are best suited to the role and your company culture. As a part of the on-boarding process, acework experts conduct a vetting call with every candidate to confirm their remote-readiness. Our assessment includes basic criteria such as English language fluency, stable internet connection, hardware setup and professional conduct. In addition, we screen for soft skills that are especially relevant for remote work. As final step before accepting a candidate, we ask them to submit two professional references.
To make selecting your ideal candidates even easier, we encourage our members to also take a culture fit or personality test to enhance their profile. In order to apply, your candidate matches will also have to answer few skill based questions designed by you.
Since we prioritise the quality of candidates we onboard on our platform, it’s a mandatory step in our vetting process. The candidates submit two references that need to fill a short survey form that confirms the candidates work style and experiences. Employers are encouraged to carry out their own reference checks before they hire one of our candidates but our reference checks will help you assess the candidate better.
On signing up, you will only fill out your basic data. Once we unlock your profile, you will add details about the company and its culture. For job postings, we ask you to list the required skills, and any restrictions you have on location, time zones and work permits. To help you match candidates even better, you can add preferences and deal breakers.

Acework is a unique platform that encourages job seekers to apply for profiles of their interest and experience the remote work life. You will receive candidates that are experienced within their areas of expertise while some candidates that are aspiring to make a career change and are carefully vetted by acework experts.
Only acework members that have signed up on the platform will be able to view and apply to your job posting.
The job posting will be live on the acework site as long as you would like it to be, as long as the position is open. You can revert the job back to the “draft” stage to stop matching for the time being if you want to keep the job for a later stage. Once the position is filled you can simply delete the job on the platform.
We are in the early stages of building our platform and you may receive more candidates for some jobs and less for others. Through our thorough designed vetting process, we are constantly onboarding new candidates. You will be notified of new matches via email. You can also adjust the requirements and deal breakers in your job description. Taking out a very restrictive deal breaker can result in immediate matches with existing talent in the database.
You are one step closer to hiring your next employee! You can invite matched candidates to apply to your open position if they haven’t already. Once they have applied, you can view the answers to their screening questions on the platform, download their CV and set up an interview or discuss the next steps in the chat (or by reaching out directly to the candidate via the contact info their provide on their CV).
Apart from screening all candidates for remote readiness, we want to make selecting your ideal candidates even easier.
We encourage our members to also take a culture fit or personality test to enhance their profile.
In order to apply, your candidate matches will also have to answer few job or company specific questions designed by you. You can decide if you want each question answered in video or written format, which gives you a holistic view of the candidate before investing time to interview them.
It is super simply to pass on an unsuitable candidate – You can directly decline their application in the platform. If you find yourself declining a lot of applicants, please let the acework team know how we can improve our matching.
The job posting remain live and active for matching on the acework site unless you change it back to draft mode or delete it. If you want to keep the job for a later time, you can revert the job back to the “draft” stage to unpublish it and stop matching. Once the position is filled you can delete the job on the platform.
We have a refund policy on our success fee when the employment doesn’t work out within the first 30 days. Please refer to our Terms of Service for details.
